Spring 2011 Class Schedule

scheduleIt’s week three in the Spring semester and I’m very happy with my classes and teachers. Thank gawd for RateMyProfessors.com!

As opposed to last semester where I traveled between three different campuses, now I’m just at one- and it’s my favorite one. I’m taking trig online and that seems to be going well. I love my sociology class, of course. I’ve introduced my teacher to The Venus Project and The Story of Stuff and he’s very impressed with my awareness of these things and will show SOS in class. I’m pretty amped about our final research project – I’ve chosen the monetary system.

I chose my Lit class as well as I’d hoped, from the many options. I really needed a refresher of the time period and the first day the teacher pointed out that it’s the most relevant time to today, although apparently many students don’t think that. And lastly, my government class is turning out surprisingly well. I’ve got a really kooky teacher with unique political views that don’t piss me off and I’m enjoying our weekly assignments. The actual material blows, as expected- but him admitting the absurdity, irrelevance, and stupidity of much of it makes it more tolerable.

So, I’m back in total full swing, working on those A’s and trying not to neglect the hell out of my poor innocent blog. Cheers!

Music Video: “Empire”

From the Zeitgeist Media Project Files: Super8 & Tab feat. Jan Burton “Empire”

This is a beautiful video and song about the choice we are all facing concerning the direction we are collectively leading the world in. Which way will you choose?
